Gabriel Silverstein has over $7.5 billion dollars of experience in investment real estate transactions, financings and analysis, as well as both tenant/user representation and strategic planning/asset management backgrounds. He has closed real estate transactions in 45 different states in the US, and in 17 countries outside the US, including five Canadian provinces.  Gabriel is a perennial top advisor within SVN® and was recently named a Globe St. 2020 Top Influencer in Healthcare Finance & Real Estate.

Gabriel has worked in commercial real estate since 1995. Gabriel came to real estate with a financial consulting and investment banking background and today is SVN’s Chair of Institutional Capital Markets. Gabriel is Managing Director of SVN|Angelic, the Austin-based boutique investment real estate investment banking and investment brokerage platform. Gabriel acts as the company’s senior transaction manager. Gabriel transacts several hundred million dollars in transaction volume annually in office, medical, industrial and retail assets, in both investment sales and in structuring, sourcing and placing debt and equity investment moneys.

Gabriel’s financing and analytical strength is most apparent in projects with multiple locations and/or where complex financial structuring is involved. Gabriel has a unique expertise in credit-based financing and financial structures, including structuring and arranging specialty tenant improvement and bond financings.

Gabriel is also responsible for overseeing macro company growth and direction, including growth of team/personnel, corporate objectives and policies. Included in this is the company’s related venture, Infrastructure Capital Partners, which finances and invests in infrastructure and infrastructure-like projects.

Gabriel’s client base is primarily institutional real estate ownership and mid-tier developers. Prior to co-founding SVN|Angelic, his real estate background included both a Senior Vice President role at Equis (now a part of Cushman & Wakefield) and also investment management and tenant representation positions at LaSalle Partners (now JLL).

Prior to entering commercial real estate he worked for Morgan Stanley International (London) and Star Progress (Moscow).
